Upload guide: what photo works best

Start with two front-facing portraits, one of each person, with both faces fully visible.

• Mouth: Keep both mouths uncovered in the input photos, even though the scene covers the mouth — the model needs a clear face to start from.
• Eyes and gaze: Both people should look toward the camera, eyes locked on the camera, brows visible, with no sunglasses and no hair across either face.
• Framing: Upload two separate portraits, not one photo of two people together. Both portraits must show the full face with nothing covering it — the scene itself covers the mouth, but your input photos must not.
• Two photos: Upload two photos, one for each person: first Her photo, then His photo. Each photo should show one person only, front-facing, with their face large in the frame. Take both photos in similar bright, even light, so the two faces match in tone.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and quality: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Do not use: one group photo instead of two portraits, hands or objects covering the face in the photo, faces small in the frame, dark or unevenly lit photos.
